Introducing Olivia! Let me tell you the incredible story of this brave little dog. On a fateful afternoon, Dumaguete Animal sanctuary received a distressing report about a dog found lying weak and emaciated in a nearby creek. The sight was truly heart-wrenching.

Without hesitation, the dedicated rescue volunteers rushed to the scene. Upon arrival, they discovered a frail female dog who had recently given birth. It was evident that she was teetering on the edge of starvation and desperately needed immediate help.

The poor dog was not only physically weak but also overcome with fear. Even hours after her rescue, she remained extremely anxious. To make matters worse, she tested positive for heartworm, and her platelet and red blood cell counts were alarmingly low.

Olivia, as she was affectionately named, had to undergo a 14-day isolation period to ensure she was free from rabies. During this time, we kindly ask for your prayers and well wishes for her speedy recovery.
