Meet Carbon, a little puppy who was abandoned when he was just a month old. Carbon wandered the small village, constantly being chased away, until he found an unlookely refuge next to the furnace of a sugar mill. “At least here, no one would bother him. No one cared about this poor baby.”
Living in this dangerous place, Carbon had to survive on a deit of coal and molasses, which left his delicate paws burnt and his body covered in sticky residue. When we first laid eyes on him, he resembled a lump of coal. His entire body was filthy and filled with despair. Carbon was incredibly weak, malnourished, and suffering from anemia.
After a shower, we could see that most of his fur had been singed off. But despite his hardships, this little soul displayed remarkable resilience.
To help him recover quickly, Carbon received much-needed medical attention. It was evident that he had to fihgtt hard for any chance of survivaI in this world. Milk and vitamins were given to him as he underwent a transformation. Carbon was being reborn.
Width each passing day, Carbon changed even more. He slowly grew into a friendly and affectionate companion. He received his first vaccination, marking a new chapter in his life.
And now, we have wonderful news to share! Carbon has been adopted and finally has a permanent home. He has found a great buddy in Pepina, a chubby pig. They play together every day and treat each other with kindness.
In his new home, Carbon is cherished and adored. He has become the center of attention, embarking on exciting adventures with his loving adoptive father.
E extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who cared for and supported this tiny angel. Your compassion and support have made all the difference in Carbon’s life.
